Journey In WuHan

Today is MingYu's birthday. After seeing Rebecca's birthday, most of the people will think that this birthday celebration will be another sweet and heart warming one. Instead of a clean celebrate, we decided to choose a dirty one, there are people starting to go around each room to collect trash around 11.30pm yesterday. Around 12am, I believe MingYu sense something is coming so he do not dare to bath. When the moment arrive, no matter what ways or method, we use MingYu just will not want to come out from his room so 4 guys went into the room to drag him out. Jarold who was carrying his leg was kick and bang on the wall, he knows that the struggle was fuile so he give up and walk out the room. Many of us open the doors,hiding behind of it just in case the trash is being throw at our face. It is really very messy



Our first IS lesson. The lecturer that teach us is call Anna, she is able to speak very good english with an america slang which sound very nice. She started by give us information like tell us Wuhan is like only a city which is very small only and it is located at Hubei which is located in China and China is really very big! She tell us the meaning of the car plate, romance of the three kingdom and where to look for good food. She is a sweet lecturer! She still go through the wedding custom in China, the girl that is going to get married have to cry for 1 MONTH! and most of the time is fake cry as my lecturer told us. So interesting. We are located in Wuhan which is the top 3 hottest place in China. We are dying! It is hotter than Singapore by 5 degreeeeee.

Around late afternoon, I went out with a group of friend to get cake for ShunQing and MingYu as their birthday are close to one and other so we decide to celebrate together! As usual there is a Cake War again but this time, the field is the safety zone whereby we are not allow to dirty the place, so I stay in the safety zone for a very very very very long time. While staying in the safety zone, I watch people play soccer. After that, JunRu tried to lure us out of the safety zone as the other which are dirty by the cakes and ready to throw the cakes at us but she failed. We wanted to sneak back to the hostel but they are guarding the enterance of the hostel, after discussing. We head to buy drink and waste more time and went back to our room unharm!

Reflection
I starts to understand things like the car plate how are their arrange accord to their city and their history and custom. Compare to Singapore this kind of traditional custom are fading off replace by modern and face pace life. I understand that China people are greatly affect by their history, with the help of the lecturer, I began to be interested in the rich history of China like the Romance of The Three Kingdom Era but the lecturer says that it is mostly make up to beautify the story. Hope to get more interesting information like Xiang Yu as he is one of the great kings in Chu. Oh yeah! Forgotten to mention, there are many more september babies in this trip, so looking forward in helping them to celebrate, I think the shop owner will love us very much! =P
