Day 2 - Exploring The Surrounding

Early in the morning, Roy wake up me wake for breakfast. I went to brush my teeth and wash my face before I head to the street to look for FOOD!

We started to wonder around this distant country, I wanted to see and look around how does the people in China do in the morning. When I was about to leave the school to look for breakfast, I saw a bus which bring you around the school if you pay them 1 RMB.

It happen to be the intake of the Wuhan University so there are many people lining up to enroll to Wuhan University and I heard from the people at there that Wuhan University is one of the top few school around China so people come from all around the states of China just to study in Wuhan University, I feel so glad i am able to enter this university to do my oversea exchange programme.

Unlike Singapore, China do not have bins all around the place for us to throw the unwanted stuff. Normally they will just throw them in pool, holes or even just on the ground.Sometime in life, when there is something to compare with then we will know how valueable is the thing and how lucky we are. For example, the ground is pretty uneven if when we walk in the dark and not careful, we might just injure ourselves. SO HAVE TO BE CAREFUL!

During lunch time, a group of us went to a small little shop and eat hotpot. We all sit at a small little table and playing a star shape finger shape like secondary school student =P When we heard that each stick of food cost only 30 cents RMB, we are like so shocked that it is so cheap!!!! In Singapore, where are you find something cost 0.06 cent????? We starting to choose the food and Roy stay behind and guard the table that is why you can see our back view! =) The food are really oily and spicy and the chilli will really make your tongue numb for a moment. One word to describe SHIOK! Vegetable is really good for health.

Around night time, We went to shopping for our daily needs as we are not really prepare items like food, fruits, pots and most importantly WATER!

Reflection
We should really slow down the pace in our daily life and learn to appreciate small things in Singapore instead of just look at our GST and taxes. We should really say thank you to our goverment for giving us such a comfortable. Until sometime, we really take things for granted! I found that we should really change our value towards money, last time I am always very lazy to go out of my house to buy lunch or dinner so what I do was I will call for delivery like MacDonald and spend extra $3. To me this $3 dollar may not seem to be very important but in China, I look at people that go around picking plastic cups, cans and etc. I realise that sometimes the most normal thing to me may be an important thing to the others. One more thing, to me China people is very weird in some ways, around afternoon, mr loh brought us out to buy cable for our laptop connection to the internet, when we went into the shop and buy the cable, the man do not want to sell to us as he said that "if I sell all my cables to you, I cannot run business!" If you are openning a stall, should you not try to clear all your inventory level in order to earn a profit?
Faith is not necessary when you know how things are going to work out, - that's knowledge. It's in the time of unknowing that having faith is what sees you through to the other side. Faith is what gives you strength. Faith is that light in your heart that keeps on shining even when it's all darkness outside. Now is the time to keep that faith alive!
