Day 3- The City
Today it is another free and easy day so Mr Loh suggested that he wanted to go city to look around and buy things then I think it is a good idea to follow him as he can communicate with the China people better. =P We take public transport over the the Grand Ocean Mall. The price of the goods are very close to Singapore so I decided not to buy anything in the Mall as I am lazy to carry the things I buy at China so expensive and need to pack them into my luggage so I only went for a treatment(straightening) which cost about 25 Sing dollars and food!

Reflection
In China, some stall use long shredded plastic as a form of door to me, it is something special and new but sometimes, it may really get in the way as the plastic is soft. Compare to a door, you can just kick it and the door will stay there for a while long compare to the plastic. I walk the world longest pedestrian street in the world. To china people 100feet for a shop front is very small to them already but in Singapore, quite a big shop already. Singapore is really lack of land but we have the talent that are willing to head out to explore and learn from different culture. One more thing to clearify that in china, if you give some money to one begger, it do not mean that all of them will come and surround you ;)

Hi Alvin, thanks for posting your thoughts and photos. By the way how do you find the transportation systems (taxis, buses, etc)in Wuhan? Anything that we can learn from the Chinese? Best regards, Lim Choon Boo
I feel that the China transportation still have ways and means to improve like making their buses bigger as China's population is more times bigger than Singapore but compare to Singapore's bus system, we have a wider space, electronic payment system and a small area whereby people can stand to maximum the space usage. I am impress by that the China's bus ticket issue person is able to remember the people that paid for their fare and they announce the next destination even through some of our buses have this srevice, we should add in a map with pointer and line indicted the path the bus is going to travel in order to make the person be more aware of where is he heading.
Thank you Mr Lim for asking the question.
