Day 15 - Interactive Day ( Plucking Mandarin Oranges & BBQ)

Today is a brand new experience for me as this is the first time I went to a plantation to pluck oranges. I am like a soldier exploring new terrain over at china with a group of my “men”. I will pluck the oranges and pass to the girls and they will start using their super sharp and long nails to remove the skin of the orange so how I felt as even we are like organization, I am the source then the girls are the processors that remove the skin in order to add value and the customer are US that eats the meat of the oranges! At night, we have BBQ with the China student and we come and eat together. They were passing to us food and trying out the food that we cooked. Really like the way we interact! Oh Yea! Forgotten that ICT people was playing fireworks on that day, the fireworks is so close and beautiful. Even through that they only can fire maximum 4 shots up but I still find it very beautiful as it somehow remember me NDP in Singapore.

Reflection
I do not think I have the talent to pluck orange but I believe that practice makes PREFECT! So I should stay in Wuhan and practice at the fruit stall to choose sweet oranges before I head back to Singapore. The interactive with the China Student leader makes me realize that Singapore really train us to be healthy conscience like ask for less oil, less salt and more vegetable but in China, they are different from us, they love more oily and salt. At least there is one things similar, they love vegetables!
